The Ganga (Ganges). Lifeblood to millions, and holiest of rivers to those of the Hindu faith. The Ganga originates in the ice clad peaks of the Garhwal Himalayas, central India, fed by heavy winter and monsoon snows. Millions of people flock each year to have their sins washed away by its waters. We travel to the source, and explore the upper reaches for skiing and splitboarding. We will visit with holy sadhus, acclimatize on lower peaks in the Harsil valley, and seek out aesthetic lines in this extraordinary region while also learning about the winter way of life for the local Garhwali people.

Ski Mountaineering of a 6000 meter peak. Chulu Far East has seen previous ski descents and is a surefire success story for skiing a 6000 meter peak in the Himalayas. This trip is a great one for those aspiring to ski at the 7000 and 8000 meter mark.

This expedition begins in Kathmandu, visiting some important Tibetan Buddhist cultural sights while also taking in modern day Kathmandu life. We fly over the Himalayas to Lhasa, the once lifeblood of the now far removed Tibetan diaspora. From Lhasa we overland into the high Himalayas, meet our yaks (that will carry all the expedition equipment), and go into the mountains to ski.  The goal of this trip is to ski as much as possible, yet we will have some travel time on each end of the expedition.

Come and test yourself in the spectacular Langtang region. Western guided. Sherpa supported and all in 2 weeks (!).

Success on Saldim Ri means we will be the first to put boot prints on the summit. Come and test yourself in the spectacular Makalu region. Luke Smithwick will be leading this trip, and also climbing with you on the mountain. We will climb Saldim in alpine style without fixed ropes or pre-established camps.

The Rolwaling is a wild region on the Tibetan border with Nepal, home to ancient salt trade routes and fascinating culture, not to mention spectacular mountains.

Helicopter supported ski and splitboard touring session in the Annapurna Himalayas of Nepal. We will be skiing and snowboarding first descents in exciting terrain outside of the Sanctuary (with some lines in the Annapurna Sanctuary as well). Helicopter drops each morning and then ski and splitboard touring for the day.

- Climbing 7126m Himlung (or climbing 6346 m Saribung only as an Option)
- Excellent trekking on approach through Mustang with a warm-up climb of 6000m Saribung
- Small, focused climbing group

Lhakpa Ri is a very achievable 7000 meter peak with excellent views of Everest next door. Climb alongside real Everest expeditions and experience wild Tibet. The skiing from the summit of Lhakpa Ri is on 20-35 degree slopes and is very reasonable.

Lhakpa Ri is considered by many to be the easiest 7000 meter peaks, and with some of the best views of the North side of Everest and Makalu.

We’ve chosen Manaslu for our 8000 meter climb due to Nepal’s consistency in permit availability (compared to Cho Oyu), ease of access (Gasherbrum Two contains some truly painful red tape to obtain a visa and even enter Pakistan), and good summit success rates (~60%).

A fully packed motorcycle adventure trip from Manali to Leh, riding through Kullu and Lahaul regions to Tsomoriri, Nubra and Pangong of Ladakh. We will cross five 5000m passes on the way, stay in hotels and spectacular camping sites, visit Nagar and Lamayuru and go rafting on Indus river at the end of the trip.
