Climbing the classic West ridge of 8051m Broad Peak is an excellent segue way into Everest and other difficult 8000 meter peaks.

The Kharta valley is tucked into the eastern side of Mount Everest, with most people visiting the region to view the wild side of Everest, the seldom seen Kangshung face. We will visit Kharta valley on this trek, and then head for a first ascent of a 6000m peak just above, completing the trip with a visit to unique Lhasa, the ancient capital of Tibet.

We have developed our itinerary both to avoid the Everest trek crowds and to allow our bodies to adjust to the ever increasing altitude. While the altitude does present its own challenges, the climbing on both Mera (6476m) and Baruntse (7129m) Peaks is non-technical but still warrants safety ropes and guides to avoid crevasses.

A quiet season adventure up the mighty Baltoro glacier into the throne room of the Karakoram. We are going to 8611m K2, the second highest mountain on Earth to visit base camp and experience one of the most spectacular mountain ranges on Earth.

Mustang is known for its fascinating culture, pristine vistas, and mysterious archaeological sites. We will take time to explore the sky caves, monasteries, and visit with locals. In the usual Spring and Autumn season, locals are busy with their pastoral lifestyle, running their yaks and ralug (sheep and goat) to the high pastures and maintaining their crop cycles. Winter allows time for visiting and learning more about their unique way of life and history. 

Skiing in the Karakoram, this coming season we have a Karakoram ski traverse coming together to ski to Snow Lake and over the Hispar La. This Karakoram ski trip is planned with an extra week in order to make a base camp and ski objectives. The key with ski traverses is making sure you plan enough time into the trip in order to have fun days of skiing outside of the traverse.

An expedition to climb Mount Shivling, an iconic peak rising above the source of the Ganges river, lifeblood for millions in India.. Steeped in lore, Mount Shivling is a challenging yet manageably safe high altitude climbing objective for those with previous altitude experience. We will begin in Delhi, going overland by the Shatabdi Express railway, and then up into the Himalayas.
