Karakoram. The magic 7000 meters. Spantik is a spectacular peak located in the Nagar Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan. Your expedition begins in Islamabad, a bustling city of over 1 million people. Here we’ll visit iconic sites, check our gear to ensure we are prepared for the entire expedition, and then fly to Skardu, the center of life for Baltistan. After a day there checking expedition equipment, we will jeep into the mountains to begin our approach to the peak.  It is a relatively short approach (if not the shortest) for a 7000 meter peak in Karakoram to reach Spantik base camp.  Once in base camp, we will begin our acclimatization process, climbing higher and sleeping lower as we ascend higher and higher towards the summit.  Views of the peak in photos below. Join us to climb in a stunning region of the Karakoram with the right support and guidance for you to achieve your goal. 7000 meters in the Karakoram (!).
