Tingri county, Tibet climb of 8188m Cho Oyu in the post monsoon season. In October 2023 we are going to climb 8051m Cho Oyu. Our plan is simple, fly into Lhasa from Kathmandu, make the approach on foot with yak support to base camp, and then begin acclimatizing and climbing. Our base camp will have three fresh meals a day (many western dishes, pizza), each person their own two person tent, and a dining tent fully stocked for relaxing and resting between rotations on the mountain.

PLAN

  • Expedition style climb of an iconic Himalayan peak
  • Small group
  • Sherpa supported. All camps will be set and stocked in advance. All fixed ropes will be set in advance.
