Ski Mountaineering | 6000m+ – (first descent ski touring and ski mountaineering) – June 2018

Our 2018 focus for Spring ski touring and splitboarding in the Zanskar Himalayas of India. What we found in June 2017 was a gracious plenty of ski and splitboard terrain waiting for its first ski descent at the magic 5000 and 6000 meter mark. Join us.

We work with horses carrying the equipment to the start of skiing. The horses work 3-5 hours a day and then are set loose to roam and graze before starting work the next morning.
